-unsalted butter for bread

-8 large eggs, at room temperature, separated

-1/2 cup granulated sugar

-1/2 tablespoon of vanilla extract

-1/2 cup flour cake

-2 tablespoons of baking soda

-1 litre milk cream, whipped cream (heavy cream)

-2 tablespoons of icing sugar

-500 gr. Strawberries washed and sanitized


1. Preheat the oven to 200°C.

2. Place buttered wax paper in 15 x 10 x 1" mold and set aside.

3. For eggs you have to separate the yolks from the whites.

4. In a large bowl, beat egg yolks with sugar until they are light, about 1 minute.

5. Add 1/2 tsp vanilla soup, baking powder, cake flour and

6. Put the egg whites in the blender and beat until stiff.

7. Then the flour is incorporated into a wrapper.

8. We put the mixture in the previously prepared mold with waxed paper and bake for about 20 min.

9. You must even out the mixture as much as possible to make the entire cake the same thickness.

10. Meanwhile, set aside 6 strawberries for garnish.

11. Slice through the remaining strawberries.

12. We beat the milk cream at medium speed.

13. Step by step add vanilla and 2 tablespoons of icing sugar.

14. Keep fighting till soft peaks form.

15. Reserve the half mix. Gently insert cut strawberries into the other half with wrapping motions.

16. Place a clean dish towel on a countertop or table to roll a cake.

17. Sprinkle kitchen towel generously with icing sugar.

18. Return cake onto the towel, remove the baking tray and remove the wax paper that we previously placed in the mold.

19. Using a kitchen towel, we roll the cake towards us and let it cool.

20. When it gets cold, unfold the cake and place the whipped cream mixture on top trying to spread evenly on the surface of the cake and then roll again.

21. Now place on a serving plate and spread the whipped cream evenly on the top and sides of the cake.

22. Finally decorating with strawberries cut in half.
