Cornmeal cake


2 cups of cornmeal

1 cup of sugar

1 cup wheat flour

1 cup of oil

4 eggs

1 cup of milk

1 tablespoon powdered yeast

Method of preparation:

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

In a bowl, mix the cornmeal, sugar and wheat flour.

Add oil and eggs and mix well.

Add the milk little by little, stirring constantly, until it forms a homogeneous mixture.

Lastly, add the baking powder and mix gently.

Pour the dough into a greased and floured mold and bake for about 40 minutes, or until golden and firm to the touch.

Serve warm or cold.
