Creamy Butter Pecan Delight with Cream Cheese Frosting ๐Ÿฆ๐Ÿฐ Recipe๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ‘‡

For the Butter Pecan Delight:


1 ½ cups pecans, chopped

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 ½ cups granulated sugar

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 tsp vanilla extract

3 large eggs

½ tsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt

1 cup heavy cream

For the Cream Cheese Frosting:


8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

4 cups powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

๐Ÿ‘‰Directions:


Preparation: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan or baking dish.


Pecan Mixture: In a skillet over medium heat, toast the chopped pecans with 2 tbsp of butter until they're golden brown. Set aside to cool.


Butter Pecan Delight: In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar. Add in the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.


In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the butter mixture alternately with the heavy cream, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Fold in the toasted pecans.


Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool completely.


Cream Cheese Frosting: In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese and butter. Gradually add in the powdered sugar, beating until smooth and creamy. Stir in the vanilla extract.


Once the Butter Pecan Delight has cooled, spread the Cream Cheese Frosting evenly over the top.
