Salisbury Steak 🥩 Recipe👇👇


1 ½ pounds ground beef

1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed French onion soup

½ cup dry bread crumbs

1 egg

¼ teaspoon salt

⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

¼ cup ketchup

¼ cup water


Preparation: In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, half of the can of French onion soup, bread crumbs, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Forming the Steaks: Shape the beef mixture into 4 to 6 oval patties.

Cooking the Steaks: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown both sides of the patties. Once browned, remove them from the skillet and set aside.

Gravy: In the same skillet, blend the flour and remaining half can of French onion soup until smooth. Mix in the ketchup and water. Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to low. Return the patties to the skillet and cover them with the gravy mixture.

Simmer: Cover the skillet and let the patties simmer for 20 minutes, occasionally spooning the gravy over the top to ensure they are well-coated and flavorful.
