❄️ Snowball Cookies
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup finely chopped nuts (almonds, pecans, or walnuts)
Additional powdered sugar for rolling
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, beat together the softened butter, 1/2 cup powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Gradually mix in the all-purpose flour and salt until the dough comes together.
Fold in the finely chopped nuts.
Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cookies are set and lightly golden.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before rolling them in additional powdered sugar while still warm.
