German Coffee Cake: Simply delicious, this German Coffee Cake is a treat for your taste buds!

Ingredients:

For the Dough:

 • 3 cups all-purpose flour

 • 1 cup sugar

 • 1/2 cup butter

 • 3 eggs

 • 1 cup warm milk

 • 1 tablespoon baking powder

For the Topping (Crumb):

 • 1 cup sugar

 • 1 cup all-purpose flour

 • 1/2 cup butter

 • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions:

Dough:

Whip together eggs, sugar, and butter until creamy. Gradually add alternating portions of flour and warm milk, mixing thoroughly. Finally, fold in the baking powder.

Topping:

In a bowl, combine all topping ingredients, using your fingertips to create a crumbly texture.

Assembly:

Pour the dough into a greased and floured pan. Sprinkle the crumb topping evenly over the dough.

Baking:

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake for approximately 40-45 minutes or until the top turns golden.

Finishing:

Allow the cake to cool before gently removing it from the pan. Enjoy the delightful taste of German Coffee Cake!
