Ingredients:

πŸ₯š 6 Eggs

πŸ§‚ A pinch of Salt

🍬 80g Sugar

🌾 60g Flour

🌰 100g Ground hazelnuts

πŸ₯„ 1 tsp Baking powder


🍫 4 Eggs

πŸ§‚ A pinch of Salt

🍬 100g Sugar

🌽 120g Cornstarch

πŸ₯› 1L Milk

🧈 200g Butter

🍫 200g Chocolate

🍫 15g Cocoa

🌰 100g Hazelnuts (roasted and chopped)

🍬 8g Vanilla sugar


πŸ₯› 400ml Cream (33% fat)

🍬 50g Sugar

πŸ§€ 300g Cream cheese


Instructions:


Preheat your oven to 180°C (356°F) and grease a 24x24cm baking pan.

In a bowl, beat eggs with salt and sugar until fluffy.

Gradually fold in flour, ground hazelnuts, and baking powder until combined.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.

While the cake is baking, prepare the cream.

In a saucepan, whisk together eggs, salt, sugar, and cornstarch until smooth.

Gradually whisk in milk and cook over medium heat until thickened.

Remove from heat, add butter, chocolate, cocoa, hazelnuts, and vanilla sugar. Stir until smooth.

In a separate bowl, whip cream with sugar until stiff peaks form. Fold in cream cheese.

Once the cake has cooled, spread the chocolate hazelnut cream over the top.

Top with the whipped cream mixture.

Decorate as desired and serve your delicious Christmas cake to your loved ones!
