Hobo Casserole

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef

4 medium potatoes, thinly sliced

1 onion, sliced

1 can (10.75 oz) cream of mushroom soup

1/2 cup milk

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked; drain the excess fat.

Layer half of the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Top with half of the sliced onions and half of the cooked ground beef. Season with salt and pepper.

Repeat the layering with the remaining potatoes, onions, and beef.

In a small bowl, mix the cream of mushroom soup with milk and pour evenly over the casserole.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 1 hour. Uncover, sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese, and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
