Salted Caramel Fudge


Ingredients:


1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

1 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/4 cup golden syrup

1/2 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup white chocolate chips

Directions:


Line an 8x8 inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it.

In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, combine sweetened condensed milk, brown sugar, butter, and golden syrup.

Heat the mixture over medium heat, stirring continuously, until it comes to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the mixture thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pan (about 10-15 minutes).

Remove from heat and immediately stir in sea salt, vanilla extract, and white chocolate chips until smooth and creamy.

Pour the fudge into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.

Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set.

Cut into squares and serve.
